WINDOR CHAIRS
I should be out in the garage painting - but I wanted to write this first.
Elena has a client that needs 20 - yes 20 windsor chairs. I'm thinking she has a 16 foot dining table especially made for these. The client is lucky she found Elena - because to purchase 20 dining chairs all the same can get very costly. Instead, we accumulated groups of 6 that look similar. This will make a cute eclectic feeling in such a large space.
WINDSOR CHAIR
The Windsor Chair. A Windsor chair is a wood chair whose back and sides consist of multiple thin, turned spindles that are attached to a solid, sculpted seat; its straight legs splay outward and its back reclines slightly. It takes its name from the English town of Windsor, where it originated around 1710.
They can come in many shapes.
Because we're in Florida - many think to paint them white.
WHITE CHAIRS
Love the arms and detains on the back
Usually we would spray these chairs - you can only imagine how time consuming it is if they were done by hand. Above would have to be done by hand because the seats are still natural. There is not enough masking off to protect them from the paint if sprayed.
BLACK CHAIRS
I'm sure you all watch Fixer Upper - and Joanna actually used black paint for many of her Windsor chairs. Match them up with a white table base to lighten the look.
Black chairs and a soft gray table. How Restoration! Love this look.
MATCH A BLACK CHANDELIER FOR THE ICING ON THE CAKE.
OOlala - A CRYSTAL CHANDELIER - How French.
12 chairs - so you can imagine what 20 will look like. Nine on each side - and 2 at the ends. OMG!
Dark Gray vs a solid black.
AND YOU CAN ALWAYS GO WITH A DARKER STAIN.
