~ let's design a Farmhouse Industrial Kitchen

BEGINNING WITH A

FOR
FARMHOUSE INDUSTRIAL
BLACK & WHITE

Items picked out at the showroom.

How I think they can come together.
OAK FLOORS ~ BLACK LOWERS ~ GRAY QUARTZ ~ BRASS HARDWARE ~ ANTIQUE WHITE UPPERS

However, notice ~ all the counters are light in color.

I'm not against the gray counter with the black because the gray is a much lighter tone than the black.  I think it will create the Industrial feeling you're after ~ not as traditional.  And if we keep the floors a lighter oak ~ we won't weigh down the look.

NOW HOW IT WORKS TOGETHER

Remember the bathroom color combo?

It's repeated in the kitchen!

This is showing the herringbone pattern.

Our look.

Brass color Hardware

Lighter flooring ~ more pine in color, dark gray island with lighter top, herringbone subway tile and retro stools and lighting.

lamps plus. - less expensive but with the same look.
Choose a fixture that has a globe on it ~ not a solid black or white shade that directs the light only on the counter below.

Dark floors, dark gray island with lighter granite top, black windows, subway tile and retro lighting.

Granite is less expensive that quartz.  To stay on budget ~ you might consider an interesting granite in all the kitchen - that will blend with the black, gray and white.

POWDER ROOM
I'd take the black and repeat it in the powder room on the floor. Maybe add some wainscoting on the walls. Cozy up the small room.
