This looks dark but the walls are light and so are the doors.

NOTE: how this is done. It looks like each tread is individually wrapped.

It's going horizontal ~ not vertical down the steps.

That way ~ you don't slide down the stairs but it is labor intense.

Paint the lower half white to mach the baseboards

Paint the inside of the outer door same black paint

This will be seen thru the 18 panel glass door.

You can go either way with the lower half of the wall. Paint all black or accent it with white trim.
