HOWEVER, yes there is a but here...... because of the brick wall, the plumbing is directed from the floor and not the back of the cabinet.

Too much of this cabinet would have to be altered - and you still would see the plumbing on the bottom shelf. I need a vanity with a skirt/ apron and less drawers.

And look what I learned today about MDF vs Plywood in a bathroom vanity.

MDF is denser than plywood, and is used all over the furnishing industry. It is NOT to be confused with plywood. ... MDF is commonly found in cheaper vanity cabinets, and although it is usually fine, it's not the best choice for your bathroom. It's best to keep your MDF cabinets in the kitchen and other drier environments

The handles and accent on the cabinets are brass ~ it will match the pendant lights. But the hardware in the shower is chrome ~ so I would like to do black faucets.

The opening to the shower is 38" wide. I'd like to do a vertical accent opposite you as you walk into the shower - along the window wall.

The penny tile is 12 x 12 sheet and each gray marble pencil accent is about 3/4". So total about 13.5" wide of accent.

TILE PATTERN

This fun look is easy to create by placing a double stacked normal brick pattern of tiles. It creates a geometric pattern which adds boldness while still maintaining a classic feel. Using the 4 x 12 in a large area softens how many grout lines and makes for faster labor.
